We are looking for an entrepreneurial, heavy-hitting AI Builder to lead applied AI work for enterprise-grade agent systems. This role is ideal for someone who can effortlessly combine machine learning, product engineering, and customer discovery to turn complex business workflows into reliable, production-grade AI products.

New York City, NY (100% On-site)

What You Will Do

Build Agent Systems:

Develop core AI agents, robust evaluation systems, training workflows, and reinforcement learning (RL) environments.

Lead Applied AI Projects:

Own the entire lifecycle from initial problem discovery and rapid prototyping to full-scale deployment and iteration.

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work directly with senior enterprise customers to dissect their workflows and productize highly functional AI solutions.

Create Internal Tooling:

Abstract repeated AI behavior patterns into reusable internal tools, playbooks, and platform infrastructure.

What We Are Looking For

Proven Technical Track Record:

Experience in applied ML, reinforcement learning, product engineering, AI systems, or top-tier technical consulting.

Strong ML Fundamentals:

Deep knowledge of system evaluation, training pipelines, problem decomposition, and rigorous quality measurement.

Solid Engineering Skills

Proficient backend capabilities with Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, or JavaScript.

High Ownership Mindset:

A clear record of shipped technical work, rather than just research support or project coordination.

Strong Fit Signals

You operate like a founder or pod lead, comfortably navigating conversations with engineers, researchers, and enterprise executives alike.

You have hands-on experience building custom evaluation frameworks, specialist agents, or post-training/model alignment systems.

This role requires deep technical ownership and is fully on-site in NYC. If your background is strictly coordination-focused or you prefer remote work, this will not be a match.
