About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in full-stack application development, cloud-native architectures, and modern API development practices. This role requires hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable applications using Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, and Microsoft Azure technologies.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust, secure, and high-performing applications while contributing to architecture decisions and driving best engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance full-stack applications.
• Build and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and develop responsive and reusable front-end components using React and TypeScript.
• Own end-to-end API design, implementation, integration, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and integration workflows using Azure services.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Implement secure, scalable, and cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical mentoring.
• Follow Agile development methodologies and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Mandatory Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
• Experience developing backend applications using FastAPI.
• Strong experience in React.js and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing REST APIs end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of API architecture, security, authentication, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Strong SQL programming skills.
• Experience in Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and ETL development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Event-Driven Architecture and Messaging systems.
• Experience working with Data Warehousing and Big Data solutions.
• Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI applications is an added advantage.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Banking, or Enterprise product development environments.
• Exposure to cloud security, governance, and monitoring practices.
