Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in C#, .NET, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to design and develop a shared software platform for communication and configuration of connected medical devices.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience building reusable .NET class libraries/SDKs, designing scalable APIs, and working on performance-critical systems. This role involves close collaboration with global engineering teams and technical leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable C#/.NET libraries and SDKs.
• Lead architecture and technical design for cross-platform software components.
• Develop high-performance, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Design and evolve public APIs while ensuring backward compatibility.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Perform code reviews, mentor engineers, and drive engineering best practices.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code with comprehensive unit tests.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years of experience in C# and modern .NET development.
• Strong experience developing reusable .NET Class Libraries or SDKs.
• Hands-on experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
• Experience with BLE GATT Services, Characteristics, Notifications, Connection Management, and Device Communication.
• Experience developing BLE client applications.
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization.
• Experience with REST APIs and object-oriented design principles.
• Excellent understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Experience leading technical teams, architecture discussions, code reviews, and mentoring developers.

Preferred Skills

• Windows and Linux BLE development.
• Embedded BLE firmware or communication protocol experience.
• Cross-platform development using .NET MAUI, Xamarin, or WPF.
• Experience with medical devices, IoT, or connected hardware.
• Experience with USB device communication.
