**Director of Client Advisory – AI Lending Decisioning New York Hybrid FinTech Scale-up**

We are partnering with a fast-growing, award-winning AI FinTech expanding its North American presence. The company provides an AI-powered decision intelligence platform used by banks to improve lending, credit and relationship decisions across business and commercial banking.

This is a client-facing advisory role, sitting between sales, product and banking customers. The right person will be highly credible with senior banking stakeholders with experience discussing real lending challenges, credit decisions and business outcomes.

What you’ll do

• Partner with sales teams in senior client conversations with banks and lenders.
• Advise clients on lending decisioning, underwriting workflows, risk appetite, credit policy and portfolio growth.
• Translate client lending challenges into clear business cases and solution requirements.
• Help banks understand how AI and decision intelligence can improve approval rates, speed, risk controls and customer outcomes.
• Work with product and delivery teams to shape solutions based on real market and client needs.
• Over time, help build and lead the North American Client Advisory function.

What we’re looking for

• 8+ years’ relevant experience across lending, credit risk, underwriting, credit strategy, portfolio management or banking advisory.
• Lending experience is essential. Commercial / business / SME lending is preferred, but strong consumer lending experience will also be considered.
• Experience working with banks, lenders or financial institutions in a client-facing, advisory, consulting, pre-sales, implementation or strategy capacity.
• Strong executive communication skills and the ability to engage credibly with Heads of Lending, Credit, Risk, Product and Commercial Banking.
• Experience using or configuring lending decisioning tools, scorecards, rules engines or underwriting platforms such as FICO, Experian, Provenir, Pega, SAS or similar.
• Ability to build lending business cases and explain how decisioning technology improves commercial outcomes.

• Compensation range: base salary range of USD $225k–$275k plus bonus plus equity and benefits.
