Job description:
- Deep hands-on experience configuring AI agents/assistants to perform complex multi-step tasks - any platform (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, custom agents, etc.)
- Clear mental model of agent architecture: when to use persistent instructions vs. on-demand context vs. tool integrations vs. multi-agent patterns
- Ability to evaluate what’s a real standard vs. what’s vendor lock-in - you build for portability
- Bias toward shipping. You get things working, then refine.
- Comfortable teaching and enabling other engineers who are newer to AI tooling
- Enough software engineering foundation to understand the systems you’re automating against (you don’t need to be a Java expert, but you need to read code and understand test coverage)
