Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Frontend Developer at Future of Nation. The intern will translate UI/UX designs into responsive web interfaces using modern frontend technologies and best practices. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing pages for performance and accessibility, fixing UI bugs, and ensuring consistent behavior across browsers and devices. The intern will collaborate with designers, mentors, and backend developers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving the overall user experience for learners on the platform. The role also involves documenting work, writing clean and maintainable code, and proactively learning new tools and frameworks as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design, with experience building accessible and mobile-friendly interfaces.
• Understanding of Web Development and Software Development principles, including version control and basic testing practices.
• Familiarity with Back-End Web Development concepts to effectively integrate frontend components with APIs and services.
• Ability to learn quickly, take feedback constructively, and work collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a strong interest in education, social impact, and building products for learners.
