Role Summary

Entry-level engineer who supports the GenAI team by building proof-of-concepts, writing and testing prompts, preparing data, and running evaluations. A learning-focused role for someone with strong Python fundamentals who is eager to grow into RAG and agent development.

Must-Have Skills

•     Python fundamentals — functions, OOP, and core libraries (requests, pandas, numpy)

•     LLM basics — understanding of large language models, embeddings, and tokens

•     Prompt writing — ability to write, structure, and iterate on prompts

•     API usage — calling LLM APIs and parsing JSON responses

•     Attitude — strong willingness to learn RAG, agents, and modern AI tooling

Good-to-Have Skills

•     Demo tooling — Streamlit or Gradio for quick prototypes

•     Vector DB exposure — any hands-on with Chroma or FAISS

•     Portfolio — GitHub projects or academic AI/ML work

Key Responsibilities

•    Build proof-of-concepts and internal demos under guidance

•    Write, test, and refine prompts for various use cases

•    Prepare, clean, and organise datasets

•    Run evaluations and document results

•    Support senior engineers across the development lifecycle
