Senior Applied AI Engineer - AI Venture Capital - $200,000-$300,000 Base

This is a founder-led AI firm operating across client delivery, platform development, venture incubation, and AI-driven investment. The environment is fast-paced and genuinely collaborative, which makes it a strong fit if you have come from PE-backed, consulting, or professional services and you thrive when the problems are complex and the stakes are real.

You are the person who takes an enterprise workflow challenge, figures out what is actually broken, and builds something production-ready that real users can rely on. Not a prototype. Not a diagram. A system with proper error handling, retries, logging, monitoring, and permissions baked in from the start.

You will be designing and deploying AI-enabled workflows across client environments, working with APIs, integrations, data contracts, and auth layers. You move between no-code automation platforms and production-grade Python or JavaScript depending on what the problem needs. You write clean specs, interface contracts, and runbooks that your clients and teammates can actually use.

You are also the person in the room with the client. At the working-team level and at the senior-manager level. You surface the real problem before you build the solution, and you have the credibility to do that well.

Long-term incentives and ownership opportunities come with the role, and they grow as the firm does.

You have end-to-end delivery of software or workflow systems in production behind you, with real users in real enterprise environments. You make tradeoffs under pressure, document them, and keep moving.
