Global Head – AI Engineering & Digital Strategy

Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Engineering Leader to spearhead our large-scale application and product development transformation with a cutting-edge AI-first approach. This strategic yet hands-on leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future of digital engineering, lead high-performing global teams, and partner with executive stakeholders to deliver scalable, innovative solutions that redefine industry standards.

Location: Hyderabad/Chennai/Noida

Key Responsibilities:

• Transformational Leadership: Build, lead, and scale a dynamic engineering organization (100–500+ engineers) across geographies, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and delivery excellence. Mentor senior leadership and develop the next generation of technical pioneers.
• End-to-End Delivery: Own the entire development lifecycle—design, build, deploy, and scale—across modern tech stacks including Microservices, Cloud, APIs, and Full Stack. Drive best practices in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Agile methodologies.
• AI-First Innovation: Embed AI/ML, GenAI, and automation into engineering processes, accelerating AI-enabled productivity and creating intelligent platform solutions. Partner with business units to identify and realize AI-driven opportunities and solutions.
• Solution Architecture & Thought Leadership: Lead large-scale solution design, digital platform modernization, and transformation initiatives. Represent the organization in RFPs, client presentations, and strategic discussions, positioning us as a digital engineering innovator.
• Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Collaborate with CXO-level executives, business leaders, and global clients to influence strategic direction, align project goals, and ensure high customer satisfaction with measurable governance and delivery predictability.
• Business & P&L Ownership: Own portfolio performance, revenue growth, and project profitability. Drive new business opportunities, strategic deals, and operational efficiencies to maximize value.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 20+ years leading large-scale engineering teams, with a proven track record in IT services, product engineering, or digital transformation.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of modern architecture (Microservices, Cloud, APIs); hands-on familiarity with AI/ML, GenAI, Data Platforms, and Automation; experience across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Must have coded at least for 5 years in their career
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, Enterprise Agile frameworks, DORA metrics, SPACE metrics and Agile/SRE metrics
• Leadership & Influence: Strong decision-maker with exceptional stakeholder management, executive presence, and ability to drive strategic alignment at the CXO level. Proven success in managing P&L and scaling organizations.
