Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage VLANs and SD-WAN infrastructure to ensure secure and

efficient network segmentation and routing.

• Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure

connectivity across on-prem and cloud environments.

• Maintain and enforce network security policies and standards, ensuring

alignment with business and compliance requirements.

• Lead or participate in incident response and forensic investigations for security

events.

• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and proactively mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure secure deployment

and configuration.

• Keep network diagrams, device configurations, and policy documentation up to

date.

Knowledge & Competency:

• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN architecture, routing, NAT, VPN, and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet, or similar).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, NIST) and zero trust
• architectures.
• • Experience working with cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure).
• • Strong hands-on experience with Aruba Switching and Aruba Wireless
• technologies.
• • Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls, including firewall
• policy management, security controls, Inter-VLAN routing, and IPsec VPN
• deployment and maintenance.
• • Proficiency in routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP (IGP/EGP).
• • Ability to monitor and optimize network device performance effectively.
• • Ability to multitask while meeting response and resolution times for change
• requests and incident tickets.
