Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer (Backend) to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for the Own360 Platform. This role involves building production-grade REST APIs, implementing secure authentication systems, and working with cloud-native architectures on AWS. The successful candidate will have 8-10 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and modern backend technologies.

The Opportunity:

Required Skills:

• Node.js – strong years of hands-on development experience
• TypeScript – Strong proficiency across frontend and backend development
• REST API Design – 4+ years building and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services
• AWS Services – Experience with cloud-native architectures and AWS ecosystem
• Prisma ORM – Experience designing and implementing relational data models
• MySQL – Proficiency with relational databases and SQL optimization

Desired Skills:

• AWS S3 – Experience with object storage and file management
• AWS Secrets Manager – Knowledge of secure credential and secret management
• AWS Lambda – Experience with serverless computing and Lambda functions
• Serverless Framework – Experience building and deploying serverless applications
• CloudWatch – Monitoring, logging, and observability using AWS CloudWatch
• Data-Intensive Applications – Experience with analytics platforms and data processing
• Enterprise Authentication – Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and identity management
• Infrastructure-as-Code – Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Modern Developer Tooling – Build optimization and development productivity practices
• AI-Assisted Development Tools – Experience with coding assistance platforms and engineering productivity tools

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline from a recognized institution
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (may substitute for some years of professional experience)
