Full Stack Developer (Java & React),

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Developer to join a focused, remote software development team. The role involves transforming complex software requirements into reliable and scalable solutions for a SaaS risk and compliance AI platform. The successful candidate will develop new features, resolve bugs, and maintain the existing production codebase while contributing to the platform’s ongoing development and improvement.

This position requires strong experience in enterprise Java development, backend services, and modern frontend technologies. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, AWS, and cloud infrastructure tools while collaborating with the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features and maintain production code for a SaaS risk and compliance AI platform.
• Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA.
• Develop and enhance frontend interfaces using React, Material UI, and TypeScript.
• Design and support scalable, high-quality web applications.
• Integrate and work with messaging systems, including Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform (OpenTofu).
• Work with AWS services, including S3, EC2, and RDS (PostgreSQL).
• Collaborate with team members using Jira and Confluence to plan, track, and document development activities.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support.
• Complete onboarding activities, including a background check.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Java enterprise development using Spring Boot and JPA.
• Experience working with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Terraform (OpenTofu).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including S3, EC2, and RDS (PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency in ReactJS, Material UI, and TypeScript.
• Experience building and supporting scalable, high-quality web applications.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spring AI.

• Hourly Rate: $75–$80 per hour.
