About the Opportunity

We are looking for skilled Frontend / UI Engineers who can combine strong software development expertise with visual design understanding to create complex, well-defined coding tasks based on screenshots, UI mockups, diagrams, and video recordings.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing modern frontend applications, particularly using React and TypeScript, along with a strong public GitHub profile demonstrating meaningful contributions to software development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design challenging, multi-step coding tasks based on visual references, including screenshots, UI mockups, diagrams, and screen recordings.
• Define clear technical requirements, expected application behavior, and the specific code or artifacts involved in each task.
• Establish objective success criteria and reproducible verification steps to evaluate task completion accurately.
• Develop functional reference implementations demonstrating the expected outcomes.
• Read, modify, debug, and validate existing application code.
• Review coding tasks developed by other contributors for technical accuracy, clarity, and verifiability.
• Identify and report ambiguous, incomplete, or technically ungradable tasks.
• Ensure that all submitted tasks meet established quality and technical standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar frontend technologies.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining complex frontend applications and interactive user interfaces.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, UI implementation, debugging, and code validation.
• A public GitHub profile with substantial and verifiable contributions, including commits, merged pull requests, or maintained repositories. This is mandatory.
• Ability to translate visual designs and references into functional frontend implementations.
• Strong understanding of UI design principles and frontend development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written English communication skills, particularly the ability to document technical requirements and explain reproducible testing procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SVG, Canvas, graphics programming, or other visual rendering technologies.
• Background in product design, UI/UX design, or design systems with hands-on frontend implementation experience.
• Contributions to open-source software projects and developer communities.
• Experience working with GitHub repositories, collaborative development workflows, and code reviews.
• Previous experience in data annotation, AI evaluation, technical assessment, or rubric-based quality review.

Engagement Details

• Fully remote, flexible, project-based engagement.
• Each task is expected to require approximately 8 hours.
• Compensation ranges from $70 to $100 per hour equivalent, depending on the assignment.
• Payment is based on successfully completed and approved tasks.
