Job Description

Position: Code Reviewer - Golang

Type: Contract

Compensation: $22 - $25/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 20 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Analyze and triage GitHub issues across trending open-source libraries
  • Set up and configure code repositories, including Dockerization and environment setup
  • Evaluate unit test coverage and quality
  • Modify and run codebases locally for bug-fixing scenario assessments
  • Collaborate with researchers to identify challenging repositories and issues
  • Ensure compliance with software pipeline setup and best practices

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of overall experience in software engineering
  • Strong experience with Golang as a primary programming language
  • Proficiency with Git and Docker for software development tasks
  • Ability to navigate complex codebases efficiently
  • Experience running and testing real-world projects locally
  • Familiarity with evaluating open-source projects is a plus
