About the opportunity

We are seeking a Salesforce Developer with hands-on Tableau experience to support a global equipment rental company. This role will work closely with sales teams to improve Salesforce functionality and deliver dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility into sales performance and customer activity. Business data currently sits in Snowflake and is not yet fully integrated into Salesforce. You will help connect these reporting needs, making relevant data accessible and useful for sales teams across global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Salesforce functionality to support sales processes, account management and opportunity tracking.

• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports using Snowflake and Salesforce data.

• Work with sales leaders and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical reporting solutions.

• Deliver insights into sales pipeline, conversion rates, account performance, revenue trends and sales activity.

• Assess gaps between Salesforce and Snowflake data and work with data and integration teams to improve access, consistency and reporting.

• Develop Salesforce reports and dashboards where the required data is available within Salesforce.

• Build and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL and Flow.

• Validate reporting accuracy, troubleshoot data discrepancies and optimise dashboard performance.

• Apply appropriate access controls so users can securely access relevant customer and sales information.

• Support testing, deployments, documentation and user adoption across global teams.

Required skills and experience

• Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, preferably within Sales Cloud.

• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL and Salesforce Flow.

• Proven experience building Tableau dashboards and reports for business users.

• Experience querying Snowflake data using SQL and connecting it to Tableau.

• Understanding of data modelling, reporting relationships and data quality.

• Experience working with Salesforce APIs and integration patterns.

• Ability to translate sales requirements into clear, actionable dashboards and reports.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment during AEST business hours.

Desirable experience

• Experience in equipment rental, fleet management, industrial services or a similar sector.

• Exposure to global sales operations, multiple currencies and regional reporting requirements.

• Experience embedding Tableau analytics within Salesforce.

• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and cloud data integration platforms.

• Salesforce Platform Developer or Tableau certifications.

Sales teams have reliable, easy-to-use dashboards and reports, improved visibility into customer and pipeline performance, and better access to relevant Snowflake data alongside their Salesforce workflows.

Pay: ₹369,000.00 - ₹1,610,000.00 per year
