Job Description
Position: Digital Artist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $21 - $35/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Upload original digital images or photographs according to project specifications.
- Conduct side-by-side evaluations of artwork against AI-generated images, documenting differences.
- Identify and articulate issues related to anatomy, color, lighting, perspective, texture, and detail.
- Detect and describe AI artifacts such as warped anatomy and inconsistent shadows.
- Compose concise written feedback using industry-standard terminology to describe flaws.
- Deliver thorough reviews prioritizing accuracy and visual detail.
- Collaborate with project coordinators and contributors for comprehensive image assessment.
Requirements
- Have strong relevant experience in digital art, retouching, compositing, 3D rendering, graphic design, color grading, or photography.
- Proficiency in image editing tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Procreate, or Blender.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on visual vocabulary.
- Ability to detect subtle differences and identify artifacts in AI-generated images.
- Basic understanding of AI image generation processes and typical failure points.
