AWS DevOps Engineer

Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO)

Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure & AWS

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud environments.
• Architect and maintain AWS networking components including VPCs, Transit Gateways, Route Tables, Security Groups, Network ACLs, Load Balancers, Direct Connect, and VPN connectivity.
• Develop and manage AWS Service Catalog products and governance controls.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security, compliance, and operational best practices.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using AWS CloudFormation.
• Implement infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using third-party automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or similar platforms.
• Build reusable infrastructure templates and deployment frameworks to improve operational efficiency.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and recovery processes.
• Expert experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, release management, and deployment automation.
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code platforms.
• Excellent technical documentation and knowledge-sharing capabilities.
• Proven experience training, mentoring, and enabling development teams.

Kubernetes Platform Engineering

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise Kubernetes platforms in cloud environments.
• Manage cluster lifecycle activities including upgrades, scaling, security hardening, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex containerized application and Kubernetes networking issues.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies for Kubernetes workloads.

Operations & Troubleshooting

• Lead the investigation and resolution of complex infrastructure, networking, and platform-related incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver robust infrastructure solutions.

Technical Leadership

• Drive infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery activities.
• Establish and promote cloud engineering best practices, standards, and governance.
