The Qualifications We Seek

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• 0 to 1 year of experience in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), or an Accounts Assistant role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, is highly regarded.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Ability to work during Australian business hours (AEST).

Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and records.
• Proficiency in NetSuite.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), debit and credit transactions, and goods and services tax (GST).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
• Technical proficiency and adaptability to financial systems and cloud-based tools.

Your Daily Tasks

Essential Functions

• Process, match, and code supplier invoices accurately in the NetSuite ERP system.
• Onboard new suppliers and customers.
• Generate customer invoices, follow up on outstanding receivables, and perform credit control.
• Perform daily bank and corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Respond promptly to internal and external accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) inquiries.
• Assist the senior finance team with month-end accruals, reconciliations, and audit preparation.
