Job Description
The Associates Global are looking for an Enterprise Risk & Resilience Manager to join a highly respected organisation going through a major programme of digital transformation and modernisation.
This is an organisation with an excellent market reputation, very low staff turnover and a culture that, despite being busy and fast-moving, genuinely values work-life balance.
The opportunity
As the successful candidate, you will own the Business Resilience function , with a particular focus on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery .
You will have the opportunity to review the current approach, bring fresh ideas and help shape and improve the organisation’s resilience framework and strategy.
You will:
- Own, develop and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans .
- Design and run crisis scenarios, simulations and resilience workshops .
- Work across the organisation to identify resilience requirements and improve preparedness.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, communicating complex resilience issues clearly.
- Contribute to wider enterprise risk, governance, assurance and third-party risk activities.
- Bring ideas, energy and initiative , rather than waiting to be told what needs to happen.
What we’re looking for
Communication and initiative are absolutely key to this role.
You will need strong, hands-on experience within Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery , ideally including personally writing and testing plans and running DR, crisis or resilience exercises.
As the successful candidate, you will be comfortable taking ownership, working independently and influencing stakeholders across the organisation.
Experience within financial services, technology or another regulated environment would be advantageous, as would relevant qualifications such as CBCI/MBCI, CRISC, CISA or IRM .
What we’re not looking for
This isn’t a general Risk Manager position.
If your experience is predominantly enterprise or operational risk without specific, hands-on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery experience , this is unlikely to be the right opportunity.
Equally, this role will suit somebody who naturally takes ownership and uses their initiative rather than someone who needs significant day-to-day direction.
The package
- Hybrid working, 2 days per week near London Bridge
- Excellent work-life balance and very low staff turnover
- 2-stage interview process
- Please note, work visa sponsorship is not available
This is an incredible opportunity for you to take ownership of Business Resilience within an organisation undergoing significant transformation. If you can demonstrate hands-on experience of writing and testing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, running resilience exercises and influencing stakeholders, we want to hear from you.
Apply now with your CV, making sure it clearly highlights your Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery experience.
