Freelance Graphic Designer

Job Overview

Bring ideas to life as a Freelance Graphic Designer, creating polished visual assets for digital and print projects. You’ll partner with marketing and creative teams to shape concepts, strengthen brand identity, and deliver production-ready work across channels. This role suits a versatile designer who can move from art direction and illustration to web and print design while managing project details with care.

Responsibilities

• Develop branding, logo design, marketing design, print advertising, digital design, UI design, and web design assets.
• Create layouts, typography, digital art, illustrations, motion graphics, and video edits; support photography, photo editing, and photo manipulation.
• Prepare design files for print, including typesetting, prepress, color management, and print production; coordinate production design for sign manufacturing.
• Build and update web content using WordPress or other content management systems, with working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Present concepts clearly and collaborate with stakeholders. Your impact: Thoughtful, consistent design helps audiences understand messages and helps teams communicate their brands effectively.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated graphic design experience or professional art or design education; a portfolio showing visual design, layout design, and print and digital work is essential.
• Technical proficiency with graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects. Experience with Figma, Sketch, InVision, or CorelDRAW is welcome.
• Strong grasp of color theory, typography, and typography design for media; familiarity with print design, color management, and production workflows.
• Experience with marketing, branding, photography, motion graphics, or video editing is valuable; web skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress are preferred.
• Organized, adaptable, and confident presenting creative work while balancing project requirements and deadlines.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 per week
