DevOps Engineer (Remote)

SmartSuite is the AI-native work platform for GRC, IT, projects and business operations. We are hiring a Chief Revenue Officer to own our revenue growth strategy, build and scale the sales organization, and lead our direct and partner-led enterprise sales motions. You have successfully scaled a B2B SaaS revenue organization, understand the GRC market, and are ready to help lead SmartSuite through its next phase of growth.

About The Role As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in the reliability, security, and scalability of SmartSuite’s cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who enjoys taking ownership of complex infrastructure, solving production challenges, and building systems that make development and deployment more efficient. You’ll work closely with our engineering and product teams to maintain and improve our AWS environment, CI/CD pipelines, containerized services, and observability capabilities. We’re looking for someone who understands what it takes to operate a production SaaS platform at scale and can balance immediate operational needs with long-term architectural improvements.

What You Will Do **AWS Infrastructure & Platform Engineering**

• Build, maintain, and optimize our production AWS infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, performance, and security.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, developing reusable modules and standardized configurations.
• Operate and improve AWS services including ECS, Lambda, VPC, S3, IAM, SQS, and CloudWatch.
• Identify opportunities to optimize infrastructure performance, resource utilization, and cloud costs.

**CI/CD & Deployment Automation**

• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines that support efficient, reliable software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and operational processes to reduce manual effort.
