Job Description

**Shopify Front-End Developer (Shopify Plus) B2B/Contractor Remote in Europe**

Contract Type: B2B / Freelance Contract

Rate: €200/day

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: Long-Term Assignment

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Shopify Front-End Developer to support the development and enhancement of its eCommerce platforms.

This is a long-term remote engagement for a professional with strong Shopify and front-end development expertise who is passionate about delivering high-quality, high-performance online shopping experiences.

Candidates can work remotely from any location worldwide but must be available online between 15:00 and 19:00 CET on working days.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Front-End Developer
  • 2+ years of commercial experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus
  • Strong expertise in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Shopify APIs
  • Experience with Git and structured deployment workflows and testing practices and version control processes
  • Strong understanding of website performance optimization and accessibility standards
  • Experience working with Figma and Adobe XD
  • Experience with typography, layout consistency, spacing, and responsive design

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes, templates, sections, and blocks
  • Convert Figma designs into responsive, accessible, and production-ready web pages
  • Optimize Core Web Vitals, page load performance, and overall user experience
  • Build, configure, and integrate Shopify applications through Shopify APIs
  • Connect Shopify stores with third-party systems and services
  • Maintain technical SEO and accessibility standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues and mobile responsiveness
  • Work using GitHub, Jira, and established development workflows
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and integration guides
