The Senior Software Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring quality assurance of software solutions for life sciences devices . This position reports to the Software Team Leader and is part of the India Development Center Software R&D team located in Bengaluru, and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Write and review Software Verification Plans, and organize, lead, and execute formal verification activities.
• Define test plans, test scenarios, and both manual and automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
• Actively support the development team in investigating identified issues, including root cause analysis and defining reproducibility steps.
• Own the definition of software test strategy, test plans, test infrastructure, and the planning and execution of both automated and manual test cases.
• Develop automated test cases using technologies such as Reqnroll or TestComplete.
• Work in an iterative product release environment with a strong focus on quality, continuous improvement, and delivery goals.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in commercial software development with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing, 2+ years of experience using test automation technologies such as Reqnroll or Test Complete
• Ability to comprehend and address functional issues within the entire test system
• Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in a cross-functional team.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Understanding of software development processes in a regulated environment
• Software development experience in the life sciences / medical device domain
• Experience in Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
