Role description

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with 5–6 years of experience to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. This role requires strong expertise in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and cloud security best practices. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using best practices. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes. Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar. Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred). Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through monitoring and logging tools. Implement and enforce security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment and release processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments. Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability. Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications 5–6 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles. Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.). Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline. Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS). Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or Bash. Experience with version control systems (Git). Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch. Good understanding of networking concepts, security, and compliance. Preferred Skills AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect). Experience with microservices architecture. Exposure to serverless computing and event-driven architectures. Knowledge of DevSecOps practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
