Salesforce Developer (Sales & Service Cloud) - REMOTE

Position Overview

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and delivering CRM solutions across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. This role will ensure that Salesforce applications and workflows align with business requirements, operational expectations, and performance standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and Salesforce architecture. This individual will collaborate with business stakeholders, administrators, and development teams to deliver scalable solutions, maintain system quality, and support ongoing platform enhancements.

Experience with project design and technical leadership is preferred but not required.

Time Zone: Must work CST or EST hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and develop effective solutions.
• Build, maintain, and optimize integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs and web services.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, development specifications, and integration documentation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve Salesforce application issues, ensuring system stability and optimal user experience.
• Perform unit testing, participate in code reviews, and ensure compliance with Salesforce development standards and quality requirements.
• Support Salesforce platform enhancements, configuration, security, and data management.
• Implement and maintain development lifecycle processes, including automated builds, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, technologies, development best practices, and platform capabilities.
• Travel to the Houston and/or Paramus offices a few times per year as project needs dictate.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in a lead role delivering Salesforce development projects.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce administration, security, configuration, and development across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience configuring and managing Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Marketing Cloud, and integrations between Salesforce platforms.
• Strong development experience with Apex, Apex Triggers, Classes, Controllers, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Proven experience developing and supporting Salesforce API integrations and custom web services.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture, including governor limits, API capabilities, security, and test coverage requirements.
• Experience with Salesforce Developer Experience (SFDX/CLI), Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines. Copado experience preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce development and debugging tools, including Visual Studio Code, Illuminated Cloud, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and established SDLC practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
