Staff AI Platform Engineer – Agentic Systems
Remote or hybrid options

$200k–$240k base + bonus + pension + health
A fast-growing ad-tech company is building an agentic AI platform where customers use conversational agents to plan campaigns, generate creative, define targeting and analyse performance. You’ll own the shared infrastructure every agent runs on, making it so reliable and well-documented that agent teams can focus on their agents.
What you’ll do
- Own and harden the LangGraph-based agent runtime
- Build a shared evaluation framework to measure quality and catch regressions
- Deliver shared services: authentication, billing and CRM integrations
- Own checkpointing, state persistence and context memory for multi-turn conversations
- Instrument the platform end-to-end: tracing, latency, cost and failure visibility
- Create SDKs, docs and onboarding tooling that cut ramp time from weeks to days
What you’ll bring
- 8–15 years in software engineering, including 2+ years shipping production AI/agentic systems
- Deep production LangGraph experience, plus LangChain and LangSmith
- Strong grasp of agentic patterns (ReAct, Plan-and-Execute, multi-agent orchestration, human-in-the-loop)
- Solid LLM foundations: context management, memory, RAG, cost optimisation, evaluation and observability
- Strong backend skills in distributed systems and API design; TypeScript required, Go a plus; cloud, containers and CI/CD
- Experience building platform tooling used by multiple teams
