Roles & Responsibilities :-

• A proven track record of expertise in English language concepts, including grammar, syntax, semantics and pragmatics.
• Ability to check text to ensure it is well written and conform to the publishers guidelines of levels of editing.
• Proficiency with major style guides, such as CMS, APA, AMA, MLA
• Ability to review copyedited files and provide appropriate or valuable feedback .
• Should be detail- and deadline-oriented and work closely with fellow copyeditors to discuss editorial changes, address concerns and ensure a collaborative and efficient workflow.
• Ability to identify tool-related (or mechanical) issues and take initiatives to further analyze and suggest logics .
• Experience in publishing for higher education books preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Highly organized and enthusiastic learner.
