This is an approximately 6-month contract role starting November 30, 2026.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform data validation, testing and quality checks during onboarding, resolve configuration issues, and provide post-go-live support for newly onboarded clients.
  • Communicate incident status, root cause and resolution timelines clearly to Business Operations, Client Implementation and leadership.
  • Escalate and track defects and enhancement requests with development teams, and drive process improvements that reduce recurring issues.
  • Support knowledge transfer and training on new systems, tools and client-specific configurations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering and/or Level 2/Level 3 production support of enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on Java development experience with Vert.x, Spring or Spring Boot (REST controllers, dependency injection and configuration).
  • Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and mocking with Mockito.
  • Solid working knowledge of REST APIs, JDBC, JPA or Hibernate, JSON and HTTP fundamentals.
  • Basic understanding of concurrency and multithreading.
  • Strong SQL skills for data investigation and validation.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools to diagnose production issues (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Datadog or similar).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and/or cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of system architecture sufficient to troubleshoot cross-component issues.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and communicate clearly under pressure during high-severity incidents.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting healthcare, payer or healthcare analytics platforms.
  • Experience with client onboarding, implementation or configuration of SaaS/enterprise platforms.
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem and change management and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
