Job Description

Review pediatric medical records and model responses, applying your clinical judgment to assess accuracy, documentation completeness and data quality.
Pediatric hospitalists review realistic inpatient records and model responses to judge whether clinical claims are supported, describe what the record supports, and explain missing, inconsistent or inaccurate details. This work uses your clinical judgment to assess pediatric documentation quality in a remote, flexible setting.
What you’ll do
• Review inpatient pediatric records and clinical notes, including histories, assessments and care plans
• Assess model outputs by comparing their clinical claims with the medical record that supports them
• Identify missing or inconsistent documentation, including weight-based dosing errors and age-inappropriate details
• Compare raw medical-record data with structured FHIR data, then provide consistent feedback on clinical accuracy and documentation quality
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $80–$115 an hour to review pediatric records and assess clinical documentation quality
• Work on AI systems that read pediatric inpatient records, checking model claims against the chart and flagging documentation gaps
• Apply pediatric hospitalist judgment to identify missing, inconsistent or inaccurate details in clinical records
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• Hold an MD or DO with board certification in Pediatrics, with or without Pediatric Hospital Medicine subspecialty certification
• Bring five years of hospitalist experience or more, including pediatric hospitalist work performed currently or during the last two years
• Professional fluency in English and strong knowledge of documentation for pediatric admissions, daily progress notes, transitions of care and discharges
• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical-record data, with careful, consistent judgment on clinical accuracy and how complete the documentation is
• Helpful but not required: background in chart review, documentation improvement, utilization review, coding or clinical QA
• No AI experience needed. You bring the pediatric clinical expertise; the work provides structured record-review tasks and clear feedback criteria.
Pay and details
• $80–$115 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Part-time, flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
