Job Description
• $45–$90 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Create demanding scientific tasks and judge whether AI-generated answers are scientifically sound and well reasoned.
AI companies need drug discovery scientists to test scientific systems on practical work spanning drug discovery, structural biology, and computational chemistry. Create difficult problems with verifiable solutions, then review AI answers for scientific correctness and the quality of their reasoning, including specialist-level errors. Write detailed rubrics and literature-based reference answers, and explain each evaluation decision clearly so other experts can assess it. This is that work, done remotely around your schedule.
What you’ll do
• Create expert-level problems in structure prediction and molecular modeling, each with a solution that can be checked
• Review AI answers to molecular docking and virtual screening tasks, checking scientific accuracy and the quality of the reasoning
• Build detailed rubrics and prepare reference answers grounded in scientific literature
• Explain subtle scientific errors and document the reasoning for each evaluation decision in clear writing
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $45–$90 an hour
• Apply your research knowledge across QSAR and ADMET modeling, proteomics and metabolomics analysis, as well as molecular modeling, structure prediction, docking, and virtual screening
• Develop detailed rubrics and literature-grounded reference answers
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• A PhD in a closely related field or in biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, bioinformatics, biophysics, structural biology, or computational chemistry
• Hands-on research experience from a laboratory in academia or industry, plus practical Python programming
• Professional English proficiency at C1 level or higher for both written and spoken communication, including the ability to explain demanding scientific ideas with precision and clarity
• No AI experience needed.
Pay and details
• $45–$90 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Part-time, flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
