Job Description

AI Product Tester — Remote, Part-Time

Company: ORI Labs

Location: Remote — United States or Canada

Time commitment: 20 hours per week, with at least 4 hours available each weekday

Engagement: Independent contractor / freelance arrangement

ORI Labs is looking for people based in North America who enjoy exploring apps and AI tools. You will test an early-stage consumer AI product and help improve how it works in everyday situations.

Responsibilities

  1. Test the AI product in everyday North American scenarios, including information searches, conversations, and task completion.

  2. Follow test cases and document the conditions, steps, expected results, and actual results when issues occur.

  3. Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, relevance, and usefulness, providing concrete examples and clear improvement suggestions.

  4. Check the experience after product updates, submit testing records, and promptly communicate progress or issues requiring support.

Requirements

Must-have

  1. Currently based in the United States or Canada, familiar with local life and commonly used apps, and able to communicate effectively in English.

  2. Able to consistently commit 20 hours per week, with at least 4 hours available Monday through Friday and clearly agreed working windows.

  3. Genuine interest in consumer AI and digital products, with a willingness to explore features, notice details, and explain issues clearly.

  4. Access to a smartphone, computer, and reliable internet connection, with the ability to work independently and communicate proactively.

Nice-to-have

  1. Experience in product testing, gathering user feedback, or customer support; or regular use of AI tools and local lifestyle apps with an interest in user experience.
