- Phase 1 (Immediate): Meaningful Day-One Equity + Occasional Cash Stipend
- Phase 2 (Post-Funding Close): $100,000 – $120,000 Base Salary + Full Benefits + Equity Performance Bonuses

The Opportunity

SportsBiz is modernizing the $100B sports sponsorship market with its DeepSport Solutions—our proprietary decision-intelligence platform that enables global brands to measure, optimize, and maximize their sponsorship investments.

We are looking for a high-autonomy engineer to build the SportsBiz platform from the ground up. You will bridge heavy data pipelines to polished user interfaces, owning architecture across the entire stack.

What You’ll Do

• Serve in Leadership Role: He.lp lead team as player-coach due to increasing number of products under development

Ship Full-Stack Features: Build high-performance, responsive analytics interfaces in React supported by robust microservices in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.

• Integrate Lakehouse Data: Interface directly with our Databricks architecture (Delta tables, Workflows, Jobs) to feed real-time analytics to user dashboards.
• Own Cloud & DevOps: Manage and scale our AWS footprint (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3) using Docker, clean CI/CD pipelines, and reliable observability tools.
• Architect for Scale: Establish foundational patterns for authentication, data caching, logging, and error handling.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of professional full-stack development experience, ideally in early-stage or high-velocity teams.
• Production Mastery: Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL.
• Cloud & Containers: Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining containerized services on AWS.
• AI-Fluent: Proven ability to leverage tools like Cursor or Claude Code in a daily production workflow without compromising code quality.
• Nice to Have: Hands-on exposure to Databricks (APIs, Unity Catalog, SQL Warehouses) or a strong interest in sports analytics.
