The Salesforce Senior Test Manager will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and successful delivery of Salesforce platforms, with a strong focus on test automation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across complex business transformation programmes.

Role Details

Type of role: The Salesforce Senior Test Manager is a senior leadership and specialist role focused on test management, quality assurance, testing strategy, governance, and automation.

Environment: An established Salesforce environment supporting complex transformation programmes, with opportunities to enhance testing frameworks, increase automation coverage, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities and focus areas:

·        Define and govern end-to-end testing strategies, quality assurance frameworks, and test governance processes across Salesforce programmes and releases.

·        Manage the full testing lifecycle, including System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing (E2E), Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

·        Lead testing across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and custom Salesforce solutions.

·        Implement automated testing frameworks using Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

·        Monitor test progress, quality metrics, defect trends, release readiness, and risk mitigation, reporting outcomes to programme stakeholders.

·        Drive continuous improvement in testing practices, automation coverage, quality controls, and delivery standards.

·        Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure Salesforce solutions meet business requirements and quality expectations.

Requirements:

·        Strong experience in test management and quality assurance across complex Salesforce programmes and releases.

·        Expertise in Salesforce testing methodologies, governance frameworks, defect management, and release readiness assessments.

·        Experience implementing and managing automated testing solutions, including Copado Robotic Testing or comparable platforms.

·        Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce platforms, integrations, data migration, and custom application development.

·        Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments while managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

·        Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·        Eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance.

Desired:

·        Experience in a Delivery Manager or similar leadership role.

·        Knowledge of the relevant industry sector, including business processes, regulatory considerations, and operating environments.
