Web Applications Developer (Remote, Freelance)

Job Overview

Wild Echo Studio (https://wildecho.studio/) is looking for freelance Web Applications Developers based in the USA to help build, maintain, and secure clean, high-performing websites and web applications for North American businesses. This is hands-on front-end development work focused on practical client projects.

Duties

• Build and improve front-end web applications and websites
• Implement responsive layouts and interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Work with at least one of the following platforms: WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow
• Perform cybersecurity diagnosis, remedies, and ongoing maintenance for client web presence
• Collaborate on project requirements and deliver maintainable, well-structured code
• Apply security best practices where relevant

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building front-end web applications
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with at least one of: WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow
• Ability to work independently on remote freelance projects
• Clear communication and reliable delivery

Preferred

• Working knowledge of cybersecurity / website security practices (advantageous)
• Stronger experience will be considered toward the higher end of the pay range; candidates with less experience may still be considered
