Full Stack Developer

Anika Labs is a creative technology studio building websites, digital products, business systems and AI-powered tools for clients around the world.

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer who can work across both front-end and back-end development and help turn strong designs into reliable, polished digital products.

This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys building real products, solving practical problems and working closely with designers rather than only implementing isolated tickets.

What you’ll work on

You may help with:

• Building responsive websites and web applications
• Developing front-end interfaces from Figma designs
• Working with React, Next.js and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
• Building APIs, dashboards, portals and internal business tools
• Connecting front-end applications to databases and external services
• Working with authentication, forms, user accounts and permissions
• Integrating third-party APIs and payment platforms
• Building custom WordPress functionality where needed
• Working with CMS platforms and structured content
• Fixing bugs and improving existing applications
• Improving performance, accessibility and responsiveness
• Deploying and maintaining applications
• Helping plan technical approaches before development begins
• Collaborating with designers and other developers on client projects

Depending on the project, you may work on everything from a marketing site to a custom SaaS product or internal operations platform.

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in someone who:

• Is comfortable working across both front-end and back-end development
• Has solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals
• Has experience with React and preferably Next.js
• Can work with APIs and databases
• Understands responsive development
• Can translate Figma designs accurately into production interfaces
• Writes clean, maintainable code
• Can debug issues independently
• Understands Git and version control
• Can communicate clearly in a remote environment
• Pays attention to visual details as well as technical quality
• Is comfortable learning unfamiliar tools when a project requires it

Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase, Cloudflare, Vercel or similar services is useful.

Experience with WordPress, Elementor, Shopify, Webflow or other platforms is also valuable because some Anika projects combine custom development with established platforms.

Nice to have

Any of the following would be a plus:

• Experience building SaaS products
• Authentication and role-based access systems
• Payment integrations
• Stripe or Airwallex integrations
• AI API integrations
• Automation workflows
• Headless CMS experience
• WordPress custom development
• Shopify development
• Cloudflare Workers
• Database design
• GSAP or advanced web animation
• Performance optimization
• Deployment and basic DevOps experience

You do not need to have experience with every technology listed.

We care more about your ability to understand a problem, choose a sensible approach and build something reliable.

About the role

This is a remote role.

Anika Labs works with international clients across creative, technology and business projects.

We prefer developers who can think beyond the code itself. You should be comfortable understanding the purpose of a feature, asking useful questions and suggesting improvements when something can be built more effectively.

We may begin with smaller development tasks while we learn how you work. As trust builds, there is room to take ownership of larger client projects and internal products.

There is potential for ongoing paid work and a longer-term role as Anika Labs grows.
