Job Description

Cisco SD-WAN Engineer

100% Remote

Contract, 6 months plus extension

CDW is seeking a Cisco SD-WAN Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise hardware replacement by leading the automation and remote engineering effort. This role requires strong network engineering expertise, hands-on Cisco SD-WAN experience, and advanced Infrastructure as Code capabilities across Terraform, YAML, Ansible, and Python.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage automation for a large-scale Cisco SD-WAN hardware replacement.
  • Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, YAML, Ansible, and Python.
  • Provide remote engineering support focused on automation rather than physical installation services.
  • Apply enterprise network engineering expertise to Cisco SD-WAN environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Hands-on Cisco SD-WAN experience in a large enterprise environment.
  • Advanced Infrastructure as Code and network automation experience.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, YAML, Ansible, and Python.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to transfer knowledge to the client team.
