Make an Impact as a Senior Business Analyst, AI Evaluation & Value Realization at Worldwide
Help turn promising AI ideas into evidence-based decisions that create meaningful, measurable value. As a Senior Business Analyst, AI Evaluation & Value Realization, you’ll play a central role in evaluating whether proposed AI capabilities address real business needs and deliver sustainable outcomes across Worldwide Clinical Trials.
You’ll lead business analysis across AI Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Value (POV) initiatives, partnering with business sponsors, clinical and operational experts, technology and data teams, Finance, vendors, and control functions. From defining the problem and setting measurable success criteria to establishing baselines and evaluating results, you’ll create the evidence leaders need to make confident investment decisions.
Your impact will be measured by the quality and speed of the decisions you enable. You’ll bring rigor without unnecessary bureaucracy, helping stop weak initiatives earlier while giving high-value opportunities a credible path toward implementation.
Where You’ll Work
This is a remote role open to candidates based in the US. You will collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
What You’ll Do
- Lead discovery and intake for AI opportunities, defining the business problem, current-state workflow, intended outcomes, constraints, value hypothesis, and whether AI is the appropriate solution.
- Develop POC and POV charters that establish scope, requirements, success and kill criteria, evidence sources, measurement approaches, decision thresholds, dependencies, and exit conditions before evaluation begins.
- Translate business, clinical, operational, data, and AI needs into clear requirements, process maps, future-state workflows, decision rules, human-review points, and measurable evaluation criteria.
- Establish defensible baselines and evaluation approaches, working with Finance, process owners, and data specialists to distinguish adoption and activity measures from operational outcomes and financial benefits.
- Coordinate business participation and evidence collection throughout POC and POV evaluations, tracking quality, adoption, workflow impact, exceptions, human overrides, assumptions, limitations, and risks.
- Evaluate expected versus observed results and help translate measured operational improvements into credible value cases and implementation requirements.
- Partner with Quality, Privacy, Security, Legal, Records Management, and validation specialists on regulated or sensitive use cases, including those involving GxP processes, trial data, personal or protected health information, regulated records, or inspection-facing workflows.
- Prepare concise, decision-ready gate scorecards and evidence packages that connect the original business need to requirements, results, risks, costs, measured value, and recommendations to promote, stop, recycle, or defer an initiative.
- Improve reusable evaluation standards, templates, baselines, measurement methods, process maps, datasets, and lessons learned to make future AI evaluations faster and more effective.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, information technology, life sciences, healthcare administration, data or analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, plus a minimum of seven years of business analysis, process analysis, technology evaluation, operational improvement, or value-realization experience in a complex enterprise.
