Job Description
Overview
As an Entry Writer / Customs Broker, you’ll prepare and coordinate import documentation to support accurate, timely customs clearance. You’ll apply trade compliance practices across freight and transportation activities, working with internal teams and external partners to keep shipments moving and records complete.
Duties
- Coordinate customs clearance, import management, and freight movement with brokers, carriers, and supply chain partners.
- Apply customs regulations compliance, international trade regulations, FDA regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements, and relevant transportation safety regulations.
- Support regulatory compliance management, customs brokerage management, logistics compliance, and risk management by identifying documentation gaps and escalating potential issues.
Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge in customs brokerage, entry writing, logistics, transportation management, or trade compliance.
- Familiarity with customs clearance management, regulatory reporting, and import and export processes.
- Capable of communicating fluently via email and phone in English.
Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
