Job Description
Job Summary
We are accepting applications from individuals with backgrounds in software engineering, software development, programming, and related fields to join our expert network for future independent project consideration. Potential projects involve carefully reviewing AI-generated code, explanations, and examples, evaluating technical reasoning, and identifying where proposed answers are inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.

Duties
Depending on the scope of a future project, contributions may include:
- Review AI-generated code, explanations, and examples involving programming, debugging, testing, and software development.
- Evaluate technical reasoning, including assumptions, requirements, expected behavior, and supporting evidence.
- Identify potential defects such as incorrect logic, inconsistent input handling, overlooked edge cases, and unsupported claims.
- Assess whether proposed tests cover relevant scenarios and whether suggested corrections address the underlying problem.
- Examine proposed solutions for clarity, maintainability, and consistency with the stated requirements.
- Provide clear feedback and suggest appropriate checks without claiming that code, tests, or performance results have been verified when they have not.
Experience
- Relevant background in software engineering, software development, programming, testing, or related areas through professional work, research, relevant study, or practical projects.
- Ability to explain your individual contributions, coding decisions, and methods for checking your conclusions.
- Strong analytical reasoning and attention to detail when examining code, technical explanations, and proposed solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and identify missing information, incorrect assumptions, or misleading conclusions.
Applicants at different career stages, including those with early-career experience, are welcome. Describe your background and contributions honestly. A human reviewer evaluates your contributions and supporting evidence rather than assuming expertise from a job title.
Application Process
Applicants must be 18 or older. Complete one profile application with your background, education, résumé, and responses to short expertise questions. Select all specialty areas that match your experience.
For this specialty, the intake includes the following example:
A function passes ordinary inputs but produces inconsistent results for empty and repeated values. Explain how you would isolate the defect, add tests, and justify a maintainable correction.
Focus on your reasoning and proposed checks. Do not disclose confidential work or present unperformed tests, code execution, or outcomes as completed results.
Profiles are reviewed before any later verification steps. Identity documents and a separate expertise file are not required to apply. Submitted evidence is not automatically considered verified.
Approval means eligibility for future project matching, not professional licensure or guaranteed work. Any assignment depends on availability and agreed project terms. Compensation is agreed separately for each actual project.
This is an application for future project consideration, not a currently open paid assignment or funded vacancy. Enrollment is free. Acceptance into the network does not guarantee assignments or earnings.
Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
