Medical Assistant

MM TOOL COMPANY is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support remote clinical operations for our team in Glencoe, AL.

Position Summary

The Medical Assistant will provide reliable, patient-focused support while helping ensure smooth day-to-day workflows for clinical teams. This role is ideal for an organized and service-oriented professional who can manage tasks accurately in a remote setting.

You will assist with routine administrative and clinical coordination, helping patients and staff stay aligned with care processes and documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support remote patient intake and coordination tasks to ensure information is collected accurately and efficiently
• Assist with scheduling, documentation preparation, and follow-up workflows under clinical guidance
• Maintain organized records and ensure information is completed and updated with attention to detail
• Communicate professionally with patients and internal teams to support continuity of care
• Follow established procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent training
• Relevant experience providing administrative and/or basic clinical support in a healthcare setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete documentation
• Professional communication skills for interacting with patients and team members
• Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a remote or virtual healthcare support role
• Familiarity with medical terminology and common clinical documentation practices
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
• Comfort working with health data systems and standardized workflow processes

Compensation

Hourly rate: $50.00 - $100.00
