Global Advertising Firm Seeks a Director of Accounting/Assistant Controller to Join its Team

*Reporting to the Global Controller

*Supervising a staff of 3

*Assist with NetSuite Implementation & Streamlining Accounting & Financial Operations

*Collaborate with FP&A, Finance Systems, and the Global Controller to Improve Reporting Accuracy, Automation, and Operational Efficiency

*Assist with Overseeing ASC 606 & Revenue Recognition Operations Globally

*Overseeing Global Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting- Latin America (Americas), Europe & Middle East/Asia

*Review Regional Financial Statements and Consolidations in Accordance with U.S. GAAP and Local Statutory Requirements

*Implement Scalable Accounting Processes and Drive System Enhancements to Support Global Growth and Reduce Manual Work

*Resolve Technical Accounting Issues Involving Revenue Recognition, Intercompany Transactions, Allocations, Leases, and Fixed Assets

*Liaison & Manage Relationship with External Accounting & Tax Auditors

*Budgeting & Forecasting

*Partner with Executive Leadership and Investors on M&A Activity Supporting Due Diligence Identifying Accounting Risks and Advising on Deal Structure and Financial Implications

*Special Projects

Qualifications:

*8-12 Years Corporate Accounting Experience- Strong NetSuite Experience a MUST

*Experience with Revenue Operations- ASC 606, etc.

*Strong Leadership/Supervisory Skills

*CPA & MST a plus

*NetSuite Experience

*Global Advertising Industry Experience a plus but Open to Industry

Base Salary ~200k. Role can be Fully Remote- but must be able to Travel to NYC Office for Major Meetings. Excellent Benefits and Full Comprehensive Package. Summer Hours & Six Weeks Vacation.
