Dispatch, Yard and Customer Service Representative

Perth Plate and Reo is a growing steel reinforcing business based in Landsdale, Perth Western Australia. We are currently seeking a Dispatch, Yard and Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is primarily based in Midvale, with occasional work required at our Sawyers Valley facility.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload trucks and materials.
• Provide front counter customer service and assist walk-in customers.
• Process customer orders and point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
• Answer customer enquiries in person and over the phone.
• Complete dispatch paperwork and basic computer-based administrative tasks.
• Liaise with production regarding order and delivery requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Work across both our Midvale and Sawyers Valley locations as required.

About You:

• Current Forklift License (essential)
• Previous experience in dispatch, warehousing, yard operations
• Experience in unloading containers is advantageous
• Customer service and front counter experience
• Basic computer skills and confidence using POS systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Current driver’s license and reliable transport
