About the Opportunity:

The BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER is responsible for designing and maintaining business intelligence and reporting solutions that enable informed decision-making. This role transforms complex data into actionable insights through dashboards and reports, ensuring data consistency and quality while supporting organizational analytics needs. The position plays a key role in delivering reliable insights that support the organization’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions
• Create scalable reporting solutions for operational, financial, regulatory, client, and executive needs
• Translate business requirements into KPIs, metrics, and visualization standards
• Develop interactive dashboards supporting self-service analytics
• Optimize data models, calculations, and transformations for accuracy and performance
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and stakeholders to integrate and ensure data quality
• Support curated datasets and semantic layers for reporting standardization and governance
• Implement reporting governance, security models, and role-based access controls
• Monitor reporting performance and resolve data and performance issues
• Perform validation, testing, and quality assurance of reporting outputs
• Maintain documentation of reports, datasets, metrics, and business rules
• Communicate reporting capabilities and limitations to technical and non-technical audiences
• Participate in project planning, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Design and maintain dimensional data models and reporting structures
• Adhere to all corporate policies including HIPAA privacy and security rules

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, or related field; or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience developing and supporting business intelligence solutions
• Experience designing and maintaining production Power BI dashboards and reports
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions
• Experience with data validation, report testing, and quality assurance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare or health services organizations
• Familiarity with claims, eligibility, provider, clinical, or operational healthcare data
• Experience with AWS services like Redshift, S3, or Glue
• Experience supporting executive dashboards and enterprise KPI reporting
• Knowledge of AI-enabled analytics including Power BI Copilot, forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language querying

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
