Job Description
• $100–$170 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the compliance judgment you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real compliance attorneys. The teams building them need attorneys who can create realistic, difficult compliance scenarios, judge how accurately AI handles legal questions, write the answer a compliance professional would give, and explain exactly where the reasoning falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of legal AI models. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Review contracts, policies, and other materials for compliance issues, then annotate them for AI training
• Assess AI legal answers for accuracy, quality of reasoning, and alignment with U.S. regulatory requirements
• Create realistic compliance fact patterns and provide the rationale and answer a practicing attorney would give
• Flag weak analysis and regulatory risk, then spell out the legal issue and how the response should be improved
Why this is worth your time
• Build real AI skills alongside your current job at an equivalent rate of $100–$170 an hour
• Work on AI systems that answer compliance questions, evaluating their responses and helping improve their accuracy and regulatory analysis
• Use your compliance-law judgment to improve AI-generated legal work across accuracy, completeness, risk and reasoning
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• Hold a Juris Doctor degree from a U.S. law school with accreditation
• Have an active license to practice law and be in good standing
• Practice compliance law substantively and recently in the United States for three to ten years or more, with strong understanding of U.S. compliance and regulatory issues and professional fluency in English
• No AI experience needed. You bring the compliance expertise; the work provides structured legal evaluation tasks and feedback criteria.
Pay and details
• $100–$170 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
• Minimum weekly submission requirements apply.
