Job Description
• $40–$80 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Put your CAD and engineering judgment to work writing precise design questions, part-time and fully remote.
AI systems are tested with question-and-answer material prepared by engineers. This project needs people who can study multi-part FreeCAD assemblies, write objective questions, give answers that can be checked against the design, and note any ambiguities. Your answers are used to check how well AI handles real engineering designs. This is remote, part-time contractor work you can fit around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Analyze geometry and assembly relationships in complex FreeCAD designs and engineering drawings
• Write several precise technical questions for each multi-part assembly
• For each design, provide the exact answer supported by its geometry and assembly information
• Record what the design shows, flag unclear points, and communicate technical requirements and feedback clearly
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $40–$80 an hour to build real AI skills
• Use your engineering judgment on geometry, assembly relationships and engineering function
• Turn complex designs into exact, verifiable questions and answers
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• Extensive experience in a relevant engineering or design discipline, such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial design
• Strong foundational CAD knowledge for engineering drawings and multi-part assemblies; FreeCAD or a comparable CAD platform is a plus
• Technical writing ability, meticulous accuracy, and fluent English
• No AI experience needed.
Pay and details
• $40–$80 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
