Role Description This is a full-time, on-site WordPress Developer role based in Karachi. The WordPress Developer will build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and integrations with third-party tools and services. Responsibilities include translating design mockups into functional, responsive web pages, optimizing site performance, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The role involves collaborating closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and deliver secure, scalable solutions. The developer will also be expected to follow best practices for code quality, version control, testing, and documentation while staying current with WordPress and web development trends.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Front-End Development and Web Design, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and implementing UI/UX designs in WordPress.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Web Development, including PHP, MySQL, WordPress themes and plugins, and API integrations.
• Experience with Responsive Web Design and modern front-end frameworks or libraries to ensure mobile-friendly, accessible websites.
• Hands-on experience managing WordPress environments, including installation, configuration, updates, backups, and security hardening.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), debugging tools, and performance optimization techniques for WordPress sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team on-site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with SEO best practices and basic analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
