About the role

We are looking for a General Manager, myVoice to lead Rio Tinto’s confidential, independently operated speak-up and whistleblowing programme within Ethics & Compliance. In this role, you will safeguard accessible reporting, fair and timely assessment, independent handling of matters, non-retaliation and trusted reporting to senior management and the Board. • Ensure investigations are objective, thorough, people-centred and trauma-informed, and meet applicable whistleblower and regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen investigation quality, methodology and governance while engaging specialist expertise for complex, sensitive and high-risk matters.
  • Use case data, analytics and root cause analysis to identify systemic risks, control gaps and practical remediation priorities.
  • Provide clear, insight-led reporting to senior management and the Board, supporting accountability, transparency and informed risk decisions.
  • Partner with People, Legal, Security, Group Internal Audit, Information Systems & Technology, Procurement and business leaders on programme delivery, reporter protection and corrective actions.
  • Own the myVoice platform, workflows, data and vendor services, deploying approved automation and artificial intelligence with human verification and appropriate controls.
  • Lead and develop a globally distributed team, building a culture of independence, care, professional courage, quality and continuous improvement.
