Oracle APEX & Forms Developer

Hiring: Oracle APEX & Forms Developer - W2 only

Location: Remote – Pennsylvania (PA) (Only local to PA)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Important: The selected candidate must report onsite at both the beginning and end of the contract to inventory and verify the condition of Commonwealth-issued equipment.

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX & Forms Developer to support the modernization of legacy Oracle Forms applications and their migration to Oracle APEX for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and migrate legacy Oracle Forms applications to Oracle APEX
• Develop and maintain APEX applications, pages, forms, and interactive reports
• Build and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex SQL queries
• Work with Oracle Database 19c and SQL Server
• Perform SQL/PLSQL debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Implement application security, role-based access control, and authorization
• Support integrations, testing, deployments, documentation, and production support
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, and PL/SQL
• Oracle Database 19c, SQL, and relational database concepts
• Oracle SQL Developer and/or TOAD
• Oracle Forms-to-APEX migration experience
• SQL Server and web services integration
• Database performance tuning, debugging, and application security
• Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and technical documentation experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
