Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Designer with 3–6 years of experience in interior design, modular furniture design, or technical drafting.

The candidate will be responsible for converting approved 3D designs, site measurements, and project specifications into accurate, detailed, production-ready 2D drawings. The role involves working closely with the Design, Production, and Site Operations teams to ensure technical accuracy and smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Drawing & Technical Drafting

• Prepare detailed 2D production drawings for modular kitchens, wardrobes, bedrooms, living rooms, and other interior solutions.
• Convert approved 3D designs and project requirements into accurate technical and execution drawings.
• Ensure drawings include correct dimensions, layouts, materials, fittings, and specifications.
• Prepare revised drawings based on approved design changes.

2. Design Handover & Documentation

• Take project handovers from the client-facing Design Team.
• Review approved 3D designs, measurements, specifications, and project documents.
• Identify missing information or discrepancies and coordinate with the Design Team for clarification.
• Maintain proper drawing documentation and version control.

3. Measurement & Site Coordination

• Review site measurements and verify them against approved drawings.
• Assist with site visits and final measurements whenever required.
• Identify differences between actual site conditions and drawings and communicate them to the concerned teams.

4. Drawing Accuracy & Quality Control

• Verify dimensions, levels, layouts, materials, fittings, and technical details.
• Identify and rectify errors before drawings are released for production.
• Ensure drawings are practical, clear, and accurate for production and installation teams.

5. Production Documentation & BOQ

• Prepare and maintain production drawings, work orders, and project documentation.
• Assist in preparing BOQs and material-related details based on approved designs.
• Ensure production teams receive the latest approved drawings and specifications.

6. Team Coordination

• Coordinate with Design, Production, and Site Operations teams.
• Resolve technical queries and incorporate approved changes.
• Track project progress, drawing status, and pending information.
• Suggest improvements in drawing processes and production efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in production design, technical drafting, interior design, or modular furniture design.
• Strong knowledge of 2D technical drafting and production drawings.
• Experience with modular kitchens, wardrobes, and residential interiors is preferred.
• Ability to interpret 3D designs and convert them into detailed 2D drawings.
• Understanding of furniture dimensions, materials, fittings, and technical specifications.
• Experience coordinating with design, production, and site teams.
• Knowledge of BOQs, material estimation, and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred: Candidates with CAD/CADD certification or relevant technical drafting training will be preferred.
