About the Job

We are seeking a visionary, user-focused Director of Digital Human Experiences to lead the design, development, and delivery of next-generation digital human interactions across AI-powered platforms, immersive environments, virtual worlds, customer engagement systems, and interactive media experiences. The successful candidate will define the strategic vision for digital human experiences, ensuring that virtual characters, AI assistants, digital ambassadors, and synthetic personalities deliver meaningful, engaging, and human-centered interactions. This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with AI engineers, UX specialists, conversation designers, performers, animators, researchers, and product teams to create compelling digital experiences at scale.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategy, design, and execution of digital human experiences across multiple products, platforms, and user touchpoints.

Define experience principles, interaction frameworks, behavioral standards, and engagement strategies for digital humans and AI-driven characters.

Collaborate with AI engineers, UX designers, conversation designers, writers, performers, and creative teams to create natural and engaging user experiences.

Oversee the development of digital human personas, interaction flows, emotional response systems, and user engagement models.

Establish experience quality standards and performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness, satisfaction, and long-term engagement.

Guide research initiatives focused on user behavior, digital trust, human-AI interaction, and emerging experience design methodologies.

Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate collaboration among technical, creative, and business stakeholders.

Monitor industry trends and technological advancements related to AI, digital humans, conversational interfaces, XR, virtual production, and immersive media.

Develop strategic partnerships and support presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and thought leadership initiatives.

Ensure ethical, accessible, and inclusive digital human experiences that align with organizational objectives and user needs.

Qualifications

Minimum BA/MA in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Artificial Intelligence, Psychology, Digital Media, Communication, Game Design, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

At least 5 years of experience in experience design, AI products, digital media, gaming, customer experience, interactive storytelling, or related industries.

Strong understanding of human-centered design principles, user behavior, and digital engagement strategies.

Experience working with digital humans, conversational AI systems, virtual assistants, avatars, immersive technologies, or interactive digital products.

Knowledge of AI technologies, large language models, conversational design, and emerging digital human platforms.

Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex innovation projects.

Strong project management capabilities, including strategic planning, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and execution oversight.

Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience conducting user research, usability testing, or audience engagement analysis is highly desirable.

Portfolio or track record demonstrating successful delivery of user-centered digital experiences.

Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
